Michelman
Rabbi Henry D.
Michelman is Chairman of ASJM. He was ordained by the Jewish Theological
Seminary of America. He served as rabbi of Congregation Baith Israel Anshei
Emes,"The Kane Street Synagogue" in Brooklyn were he succeeded his
grandfather, Rabbi Israel Goldfarb, the noted composer of Synagogue music. He
then served as Assistant to the Chancellor of the Seminary and later as
Executive Vice President of the Synagogue Council of America. He is now a
composer, having scored TV films for A&E, PBS, CNBC and ABC. His current
commissions include music for Synagogues and churches. |
